What is it like to study Hairdressing?

Assessment:

There are 3 units to complete which are assessed through assignments and practical activities.  The units are internally assessed and moderated by the examination board.

Who is the course for?

This course is for those students interested in Hairdressing. You should:

- Have an interest in the changing fashions in hair

- Be friendly and able to get on with all kinds of people

- Be enthusiastic, well presented and able to communicate readily

What will I do on the course?

You will learn about the various job roles within the industry, the importance of maintaining a professional image and communicating effectively and how to shampoo and condition hair. 

Alongside this you will learn about the different hair types and the products that can be applied.
