Twynham Sixth Form is the best in the area - official!

With the publication of the most recent school and college performance tables, Twynham Sixth Form comes out on top. The tables show the progress students make from GCSE to their A-Level grades (known as the “value added”) and of the 30 most local providers (we stopped looking after 30), across a number of counties, Twynham Sixth Form comes out in 1st place.

This is a great place to be, and our Executive Headteacher, Dr Terry Fish, said:

“This is a great testament to all the hard work of our students and the staff who teach them and support them. Everyone, including parents and the wider community, has every reason to be extremely proud of the achievements of our young people”.

Director of Sixth Form David Cook said, “For over 18 years Twynham 6th Form has gradually developed into an outstanding provider of A-levels; it takes a long time to learn how to do things well. Our results and student feedback both confirm the outstanding opportunities and standards that our students achieve. People see that and want to be part of it”.

Perhaps it is no surprise that the number of applications for Twynham Sixth Form is at an all-time high this year, with even more students than before applying to join for September 2016.

Dr Fish thanks everyone associated with the school for their unstinting efforts and support.
