How can I buy lunch?
If you are buying lunch, you do this in the canteen. The canteen does not take cash, so you need to make sure that your parents have topped up your Arbor account in advance.
You will then be able to pay 
tapping your blue key fob on the machines ->
On your first day, you will be issued with a catering fob. This is assigned to your account and your parent will be able to track what you purchase and how much credit is on the account. If you lose your fob, parents can purchase a replacement in the Arbor Shop. This costs £1. You can then collect the newly purchased fob from the following Monday in the Hall at the end of break or lunch. Just ask for the new fob you have purchased. They will have a list.
If you are in receipt of Free School Meals your FSM allowance will be available for you each day. This does not roll over. Please ensure you have additional funds on your account as the allowance is fixed and any overspend will be chargeable. If you do not have funds you may not be able to purchase an item.
Students who had FSM at their primary school are asked to reapply before coming to Twynham as eligibility no longer automatically rolls over. Click here for more information on how to apply.
If you are buying a hot lunch, you may eat in the hall or outside, if the weather is nice.
If you are bringing a packed lunch, you may eat in your tutor room if it is wet break (if you are in a Science lab, your tutor will tell you where else you can eat) or outside on the benches or field if the weather is nice.
