Twynham School Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Results

Twynham School Celebrates Outstanding GCSE Results

Twynham School is delighted to celebrate an exceptional set of GCSE results this summer, reflecting the hard work, resilience,Gcse 2025 and ambition of our Year 11 students. These outcomes are a testament to the strong culture within the year group, built on the mantra of “preparation, not pressure.”

We are incredibly proud of all our students. Their achievements have been expertly supported by our dedicated teachers, tutors, support staff, and their Head of Year, Mrs Manning, whose care and leadership have been instrumental throughout their journey.

This year, 83% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and Maths, and 61% secured a grade 5 or above in these core subjects. These strong outcomes have enabled the majority of students to progress onto Level 3 courses, with many choosing to continue their academic journey at Twynham Sixth Form.

A number of students achieved exceptional academic outcomes, including:

  • Harvey – 10 grade 9s and 1 grade 8
  • Dylan, Ace, Max, Rachel, Poppy, Lucas, Lily, Ozgun, and Sam – all achieved multiple grade 9s across a wide range of subjects

Several students have demonstrated exceptional individual performances, not necessarily because they have achieved the highest grades, but because they have overcome personal challenges to achieve their results. We are proud to celebrate the achievements of Ella, Mia, Louise, Pheobe, Harley, and Sam, whose commitment and perseverance have been truly inspiring.

Kate Ball, Head of School, commented:
“We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students. Their results reflect not only academic success but also the strength ofGcse 20251 character and community that defines Twynham School. The culture of high expectations, combined with expert guidance and care, has enabled our students to thrive. We look forward to welcoming many of them into our Sixth Form and continuing to support them as they prepare for bright futures.”

While we’ve chosen to spotlight just a few of our 260+ students, every individual in this cohort deserves recognition. Their collective success is the result of sustained effort, personal commitment, and the invaluable support of their teachers, support staff, and families. These results open doors to exciting new opportunities, and we are confident that our students are well-prepared to embrace all that lies ahead.

Twynham School remains committed to providing a nurturing and aspirational environment where every student is empowered to achieve their best and take confident steps toward further education, apprenticeships, and employment.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our students and wish them every success in the next chapter of their lives.
